Why Scrappy Kin exists

Data brokers are companies that collect, package, and sell personal information about people — often without their knowledge or consent.

Most people have the legal right to opt out of these databases. But in practice, the process is scattered across hundreds of sites and forms, which makes it hard to do on your own. Services exist to handle this for you, but they require you to trust yet another intermediary with your personal information.

Scrappy Kin exists to put you back in control and make opt-outs something busy people can actually do.

How it works

1

Choose the brokers you want to contact

Scrappy Kin has audited more than 800 brokers to figure out which ones honor opt-out requests and the easiest way to submit them.

Start with a curated broker list instead of hunting down forms from scratch.

2

Review the next batch before it sends

You can review the broker list, confirm Gmail is connected, and check the email before anything goes out.

The send stays in your hands, with the details visible before you act.

3

Send from your own account and track progress

The emails go out from your connected Gmail account, and Scrappy Kin keeps track of what was sent and what is next.

Replies come back to your inbox, and your next round is ready when you are.
